1.  The deadline for abstract submission deadline is February 28, 2024. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.

2. Abstracts, including footnotes, must be 150 words or less. The program chairperson and the editors reserve the right to edit abstracts, if necessary, for clarity, grammar, style, and length. Abstract titles must be limited to ten words or less.  Keep footnotes to a minimum; if needed, they should pertain only to published works, such as journal articles, studies, etc. Do not reference unpublished materials or past presentations for which papers are not easily obtained.

3. Abstracts must be submitted with the intention that they will be presented if selected. Authors are expected to attend the meeting and make the presentation. 

4. An individual may be first/presenting author of only one abstract. If an abstract includes co-authors, the presenting author’s name should be the first name to appear in the author listing. 

5. A complete abstract should include a statement of purpose, methods used, and a summary of results in sufficient detail to support the conclusion. Statements such as "results will be described" should be avoided.

6. Please proof your abstract carefully for formatting, spelling and data errors. Pay special attention to the author order and presenting author designation. 

7. Review of Abstracts: All abstracts are reviewed by at least one Program Committee member. The Program Committee reserves the right to decline a presentation to any submitted abstracts that lack scientific content or merit, or that merely announce the availability of a resource or service.

8. Notifications: You will be notified via email of the disposition of your abstract by March 3, 2024.

9. Withdrawals: Authors should not submit abstracts if they do not plan to attend the meeting. Authors who cannot present as scheduled must notify the conference organizing committee in advance. If you choose to withdraw your abstract, please email your request by March 4, 2024.
