This Privacy Policy explains how Qalbify ("Qalbify", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use the Qalbify mobile app, website, creator tools, subscriptions, downloads, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy applies to Qalbify and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions:

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the Service, and information received from app stores or login providers when you choose to use those features.
Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
- name;
- email address;
- password in hashed form;
- account ID;
- profile image or avatar URL;
- email verification status;
- account status, such as active, banned, or deleted;
- authentication tokens and session information.
Login and Authentication Information
If you sign in with email, Google, or Apple, we may receive or process:
- email address;
- name;
- provider account ID;
- profile image from the provider, if available;
- identity token or authentication response needed to sign you in;
- verification OTP records for signup or password reset;
- password reset and account security records.
We do not receive your Google or Apple account password.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If you buy or restore a subscription, we may collect:
- subscription tier, such as Free, Silver, or Gold;
- product ID or SKU;
- purchase token, transaction ID, receipt data, or original transaction ID;
- subscription status, renewal status, entitlement dates, and expiry dates;
- purchase verification responses from Google Play, Apple, or related app store services.
We do not collect or store your full credit card number. Payments made through Google Play are processed by Google Play.
Listening, Library, and Download Information
When you use listening and library features, we may collect:
- audio items you play;
- play history, playback duration, and completion status;
- favorites;
- playlists and playlist items;
- download records, selected audio quality, download status, file size, and expiry dates;
- entitlement-based access information for premium audio quality and downloads.
Offline downloads may be stored locally on your device in encrypted or app-private storage. Some download metadata may also be stored on our servers so we can manage access, expiry, and account-based download history.
Creator and Upload Information
If you apply to become a creator or upload content, we may collect:
- creator profile details, such as bio and website;
- privacy policy acceptance timestamp;
- creator status, approval status, rejection reason, and admin review notes;
- verification document type;
- uploaded verification documents, such as ID card, passport, driving license, image, or PDF;
- uploaded audio files, cover images, titles, descriptions, language, category, tags, duration, and artist name;
- creator dashboard metrics, including plays, unique listeners, average listening duration, and royalty or monetization eligibility.
Creator verification documents may contain sensitive personal information. We use them for identity, safety, fraud prevention, creator approval, and legal compliance purposes.
Communications and Support
If you contact us, we may collect:
- your email address;
- message content;
- support request details;
- attachments you choose to send;
- communication logs needed to respond to your request.
Device, App, and Technical Information
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service, such as:
- app version;
- operating system and device type;
- network status;
- IP address;
- request timestamps;
- server logs;
- error, crash, performance, and diagnostic information, if enabled;
- security and fraud prevention signals.
Qalbify does not currently require access to your precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, health data, microphone, or camera for the core app experience.
Notifications
If notifications are enabled, we may use notification preferences and device notification settings to send playback controls, account messages, creator updates, new release alerts, or service-related notices. On Android, notification permission may be requested where required by the operating system.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create, verify, secure, and manage accounts;
- provide sign-in, OTP, password reset, and account recovery;
- stream audio and provide playback features;
- save favorites, playlists, downloads, and listening history;
- verify purchases and provide premium subscription benefits;
- manage download access, expiry, and audio quality entitlements;
- process creator applications and verification documents;
- host, review, moderate, and publish creator uploads;
- calculate creator metrics, eligibility, and royalty-related information;
- provide customer support;
- send service, security, and account notices;
- prevent abuse, fraud, copyright infringement, and unauthorized access;
- improve app reliability, performance, and user experience;
- comply with legal obligations, app store rules, and platform policies.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.
We may share information only as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:
- with infrastructure providers that host our app, API, database, files, and storage;
- with email service providers that send OTP, verification, account, or support emails;
- with Google Play, Apple, and payment platform services for purchase verification, subscription management, refunds, and fraud prevention;
- with Google or Apple when you choose their sign-in services;
- with analytics, logging, crash, or monitoring providers if these services are enabled;
- with content storage or CDN providers for hosting audio, images, and creator uploads;
- with admins or reviewers who need access to review creator applications, verification documents, uploaded content, abuse reports, or support issues;
- with legal, regulatory, law enforcement, or rights-holder parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice where required.
Third-party providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We require service providers to handle data only for permitted service-related purposes.
5. Data Safety Summary for Google Play
For Google Play Data safety purposes, Qalbify may collect and process the following data categories depending on how you use the app:
- Personal information: name, email address, profile image, user ID, creator profile information;
- App activity: audio plays, listening history, favorites, playlists, downloads, searches or app interactions where supported;
- App info and performance: crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, and app version if enabled;
- Financial or purchase information: purchase tokens, subscription IDs, product IDs, receipt data, entitlement status, and purchase verification status;
- Files and documents: creator verification documents, creator audio uploads, cover images, and documents you choose to upload;
- Messages: support emails or communications you send to us.
We use these categories for app functionality, account management, payment verification, fraud prevention, security, analytics, creator review, content moderation, customer support, and legal compliance.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including:
- HTTPS or modern encryption for data transmitted between the app and our servers;
- password hashing rather than storing plain-text passwords;
- access controls for admin and backend systems;
- app-private or encrypted local storage for offline audio where supported;
- token-based authentication;
- limited access to creator verification documents and sensitive review data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
7. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including account operation, subscriptions, creator verification, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and service improvement.
Typical retention practices include:
- account data is kept while your account is active;
- authentication logs, OTP records, and security records may be kept for a limited period for security and abuse prevention;
- subscription and entitlement records may be kept as needed for billing, support, tax, refund, and app store compliance;
- creator verification and review records may be kept while your creator account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion where required for fraud prevention, legal claims, copyright, or regulatory compliance;
- uploaded creator content may remain available while published or while needed for moderation, licensing, dispute, or legal reasons;
- server logs and diagnostics are retained for a limited period unless needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
If we no longer need data, we delete it or anonymize it where reasonably possible.
8. Account Deletion and Data Requests
If you created a Qalbify account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting:

Use the subject line: "Qalbify Account Deletion Request".
In your request, include the email address connected to your Qalbify account. We may need to verify your identity before deleting the account.
When we delete an account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data unless we need to keep certain records for legitimate reasons, such as:
- payment, refund, tax, accounting, or subscription records;
- fraud prevention and platform security;
- legal compliance;
- dispute resolution;
- copyright, creator verification, or content moderation records;
- records necessary to protect the rights and safety of Qalbify, users, creators, or third parties.
If you have an active subscription through Google Play or another app store, deleting your Qalbify account may not automatically cancel the app store subscription. You should also cancel the subscription through the app store account where you purchased it.
You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information where applicable law provides those rights.
9. Your Choices
You can:
- update certain account information in the app where supported;
- choose whether to create playlists, favorites, downloads, or creator uploads;
- decline creator verification if you do not want to provide identity documents;
- manage subscriptions through Google Play or the app store used for purchase;
- control Android notification permissions in system settings;
- request account deletion or data help by contacting info@ruhiithub.com.
10. Children's Privacy
Qalbify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact info@ruhiithub.com and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete the information where required.
If Qalbify is later offered as a child-directed or family app, we will update this Privacy Policy and related app store disclosures before doing so.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Data protection laws may differ by country. When we transfer or process information internationally, we use reasonable safeguards required by applicable law.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, app stores, sign-in providers, payment services, or content providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the effective date, posting the updated policy on our website, or showing an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
