QMatch Child Safety Standards: Our Commitment to Combating Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Effective Date: October 21, 2025
1. Our Unwavering Commitment
QMatch is dedicated to creating a safe and positive community for all its users. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior that facilitates, depicts, or promotes Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This document outlines the standards and measures we implement to protect our community, especially children, from harm. We are committed to actively preventing our platform from being used for such heinous activities, detecting and removing such content, and reporting it to the appropriate legal authorities.
2. Definitions
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): This includes all forms of sexual exploitation and abuse of children. It encompasses behaviors such as grooming, online solicitation of children, sexual extortion (sextortion), human trafficking of children for sexual purposes, and any other conduct that sexually exploits or harms a child.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): This refers to any visual depiction (including photographs, videos, computer-generated images, or other media) that shows a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct or depicted in a sexually exploitative manner. The creation, possession, distribution, or promotion of CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited on QMatch.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly forbidden on QMatch and will result in immediate enforcement action:
CSAM: Posting, sharing, requesting, or distributing any CSAM.
Grooming: Any attempt by an adult to build an emotional or sexual relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
Solicitation: Attempting to engage a minor in any form of sexual activity or to produce CSAM.
Sexual Extortion (Sextortion): Threatening to distribute a person's private sexual images or information (especially a minor's) to coerce them into sexual acts, producing more sexual material, or providing payment.
Facilitation: Using QMatch to coordinate or promote any activity related to CSAE, including trafficking or live-streaming abuse.
Linking to CSAE: Providing links to off-platform websites, forums, or storage locations that host CSAM or facilitate CSAE.
4. Detection, Moderation, and Reporting
QMatch employs a multi-layered approach to safety:
Proactive Detection: We utilize advanced technology, including (but not limited to) hashing technologies (like PhotoDNA) and AI-driven content analysis, to proactively scan for and identify known and suspected CSAM and grooming behaviors.
User Reporting: We provide a clear and easy-to-access in-app reporting mechanism, allowing any user to flag suspicious content, profiles, or behaviors directly to our 24/7 moderation team.
Trained Moderation Team: Our human moderation team is trained to identify, review, and take appropriate action on reports related to CSAE and CSAM.
Legal Reporting: QMatch is legally obligated to report all identified instances of CSAM to the relevant national authorities, such as the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other appropriate global law enforcement agencies.
5. Enforcement Actions
Any violation of these standards will be met with severe consequences, including but not limited to:
Immediate removal of the offending content.
Permanent suspension and ban of the user's account(s).
Preservation of evidence to assist law enforcement.
Reporting the user and the content to NCMEC and/or appropriate law enforcement agencies, as required by law.
6. Policy Review and Updates
The landscape of online safety is constantly evolving. QMatch commits to regularly reviewing and updating these standards, our technologies, and our moderation practices in consultation with safety experts and legal advisors to effectively combat new and emerging threats.
