In the 2013-2014 academic year, I successfully passed my matriculation examination with one distinction.
While awaiting my exam results, I joined Myanmar Inspection & Technology. With the guidance of respected seniors, self-study, and my quick learning skills, I delved into studying inspection techniques.
After five months of dedicated study and on-the-job training (OJT), I had the opportunity to take my first ASNT-UT Level 2 training and certification exam.
On the other hand, I had enrolled in the BE Petroleum program at Thanlyin Technical University (TU). However, during my first year at TU, I decided to shift my focus and pursue a Diplomatic Degree through distance education, specializing in English. Unfortunately, I have not yet graduated due to unforeseen circumstances.
After working as an Inspection Technician under a TAS service contract last year, I took the opportunity to further develop my technical knowledge and am currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering Diploma under City & Guilds (UK). I have completed the Advanced Diploma (Level 3) and am currently continuing with Level 4, the Higher Professional Diploma.

Key achievements:
- Over 2 Years of Inspection Technician position with the 4x4 weeks rotational based experience at YADANA platform with Myanmar Inspection & Technology under Inspection and corrosion department. (2021 to 2023)
- About 2 Years of NDT inspector with the 4x4 weeks rotational based experience at YADANA platform with Myanmar Inspection & Technology under Inspection and corrosion department. (2019 to 2021)
- Overall, 8 years’ experience as NDT (MT, PT, UT & RT) Level II (ASNT) inspector at Myanmar Inspection & Technology.
Some of the highlighted projects:
- 1 year of project coordinator at API comply certification for the 2 million gallon above ground storage tank construction project (Myanmar Energy Sector Development Public)
- About 2,000 working hours in oil and gas platforms for NDT inspection as NDT (MT, PT, UT & RT) LEVEL II (ASNT) inspector. (POSCO DAEWOO - SHWE PLATFORM, ENERGY DRILLING-II @ ZAWTIKA PLATFORMS)
- Continuous 14 months of UT inspection for TKY connection at Thilawa Jetty Jacket construction project. (JFEE)
- 1 Year of VT, RT and PT inspector (Contractor QA/QC inspector) at Pangpet No. (2) Steel Mill cool box (Aluminum welding) construction project.
- Assisted as a junior for the inspection of crane and lifting gears.
Notable achievement:
- Reviewed documentation and managed dossier filing. Took the lead in preparing NDT procedures, method of statements, and welding procedures for both company and client projects.
- Gained extensive exposure to various inspection methods and technical codes.
- Adapted to new challenges while working with different clients and in various field environments.
- Successfully handled heavy workloads and met project deadlines and targets.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork, leadership, responsibility, dedication, and problem-solving skills.
