Playlist Live Channels

Series recording is possible if you epg data has information about season and episode.

A program in a xmltv can look something like this:

<programme start="20190331013500 +0200" stop="20190331032500 +0200" channel="BBC Earth SE"> <title lang="sv">Svalbard: Life on the edge</title> <desc lang="sv">Worlds apart. Christine's sister Catherine gets to grips with Arctic life when she visits from England. Meanwhile, snowmobile guide Alex attempts to take his girlfriend Karolina on a romantic trip</desc> <episode-num system="xmltv_ns">0.6.</episode-num></programme>

Notice the tag <episode-num system="xmltv_ns">. This tag is needed for PVR Live to parse season and episode information.

The format for the value is: S.E.P/T

S = season - 1

E = episode - 1

P = part - 1

T = total parts

None of the sections are required so it's valid to write the value "..". This would not be very useful though since both season and episode are required for series recording to work.

In the example above "0.6." means season 1, episode 7.

Clicking a program with both season and episode information brings up a dialog asking you to record current episode or entire series.
