Photographers, writers, potters, musicians, painters, gardeners! -- we are creative people of every persuasion. We meet monthly in the San Francisco Bay Area for a free exchange of ideas, a sharing of creative work, and a discussion of the ups and downs of our creative practice. We also attend arts events together, pursue our creative activities in community, and occasionally host creative events.
In Zen, an ensō (円相, "circular form") is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. — Wkp.
After Libby Raab's work was noted in the Group Exhibition at the Arts Fest, she was invited to have a solo show at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View last October. What a great success! Her work looked beautiful in the space, and she sold nearly all her pieces.
The magic of meeting may lead to interesting future collaborations for performers at the PVAF.

Arts Fest painters Jean Pettigrew Whelan and Kevin Gill were both selected for the last Open.
You don't need to be a professional to participate and get a lot out of the Arts Fest. This is a show for everybody. We want to help you achieve your goals regardless of the level of your practice. -- Pat Baenan took the leap to apply to her first juried exhibition after having a booth at the show.

⭕️ Look for us in September ⭕️
For another wonderful event!
Here is your chance to show off your favorites or empty those closets of accumulated work.
Thanks to Patrice for organizing the group exhibition!
Who else would like to work on the show?
Thanks to coordinators Ellen, Ateret and all the wonderful authors over the years who have delighted us with their stories.
Who's next!?
And thanks, too, to the Portola Valley Library for helping children learn how books are made and the basics of printing among other art projects.
Each year the Arts Fest grows to incorporate new arts largely because of who takes part.
Portola Valley Theater Conservancy brings their sparkle and fun. Local children's authors expanded our literature programming in charming ways. What about adult theater or dance!?
Do you have a special interest? You can make it happen.
