AGFORWARD - AGroFORestry that Will Advance Rural Development - AGFORWARD (AGroFORestry that Will Advance Rural Development) is a four-year research project funded by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7). It started in January 2014 and will continue until December 2017.

The project builds on existing agroforestry experiments, current on-farm agroforestry trials, and previous research projects such as “Silvoarable Agroforestry For Europe (SAFE)”. The European Agroforestry Federation is a partner. The start of the project coincides with the launch of EU Rural Development Regulations that can support the establishment of agroforestry systems. DIGITAF - DIGItal Tools to boost AgroForestry - DigitAF is a project funded by the European Union. A consortium of 26 European and international partners committed to provide digital tools to boost Agroforestry in Europe in order to meet climate, biodiversity and farming sustainability goals. Lill-Nägels Agroforestry Pilot Project - The Lill-Nägels Agroforestry Pilot Project (LillNAP) is implementing a successional agroforestry system to remediate degraded agricultural soil primarily through the monitoring and management of biodiversity. Our project launched in late June 2022 in Kirkkonummi, Finland, on a worn out agricultural field. The project aims to produce quality food products from the first full growing season (2023) and help our partner farmer market them through a community supported agriculture model (CSA). NylAF - Agroforestry i Nyland -  Agroforestry in Nyland on kolmivuotinen EU-rahoitteinen kehittämishanke (2024-2026) Yrkeshögskolan Noviassa. Aloitettuamme menestyksekkäästi agrometsätalousjärjestelmän Lill-Nägelsillä Kirkkonummella olemme laajentaneet ja aiomme tämän hankkeen kautta ottaa mukaan myös muita maatiloja ja koko maatalousyhteisön. AF4EU - Agroforestry Business Model Innovation Network - The overall objective of AF4EU is to promote agroforestry in Europe through the development of a multi-actor interactive and innovation driven expanded agroforestry network. AGROMIX project - Increase understanding of how mixed farming and agroforestry systems work. The project collects information from previous projects, ongoing trial sites and the experiences of farmers and land managers to identify the best options for transitioning towards these systems in each region of Europe. REFOREST project - Agroforestry at the forefront of farming sustainability in multifunctional landscapes in Europe - a Horizon Europe project funded under EU’s Land, ocean and water for climate Action, aims to promote agroforestry as a land use type allowing food production while maintaining ecological sustainability.
