Board of Education Candidates 'Putting Kids First' in Manchester Township: Meet Laura Wingler, Timothy Poss, and Gloria Adkinson
Manchester Township, [Date] – In a strong commitment to putting kids first and prioritizing the interests of the community over political agendas, three dedicated candidates, Laura Wingler, Timothy Poss, and Gloria Adkinson, have stepped forward to run for the Manchester Township Board of Education.
Laura Wingler, an incumbent Board of Education member, brings a wealth of experience in education and a profound dedication to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. She is a devoted Manchester resident with two children currently attending Manchester Township schools. Laura's background in higher education and her three years of service on the Board of Education have demonstrated her commitment to preserving the unique charm and high-quality education offered in the district.
"I believe our students are the future, and everything we do should be centered around their success," says Laura Wingler. She emphasizes the importance of supporting teachers and staff, improving mental health and communication, and enhancing career and college readiness for students.
Timothy Poss, a lifelong resident of Manchester Township and a dedicated public servant as a Sergeant in the Pemberton Borough Police Department, brings a strong sense of community and a commitment to school safety and security. His experience as a leader in law enforcement has prepared him for addressing the school budget and making sound decisions for the benefit of Manchester's children.
"My core values are centered on transformational leadership," says Timothy Poss. "I'm committed to doing what's best for the children of Manchester today as well as for the future."
Gloria Adkinson, a retired teacher with 33 years of experience in the Lakewood Public School District, has an extensive background in education and a strong passion for improving special education services. Her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion aligns with her desire to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.
"I'm dedicated to expanding diversity, equity, and inclusion in our school system and addressing mental health in our school community," says Gloria Adkinson.
These candidates collectively prioritize issues such as communication, career and college readiness, special education, enrichment opportunities, and mental health in their campaign for the Board of Education. They are dedicated to working collaboratively and transparently to ensure the best outcomes for Manchester Township's students.
