PushStop ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. We designed PushStop from the ground up to operate almost entirely on-device. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the PushStop mobile application.
1. Core Philosophy: On-Device First
PushStop's primary functionality relies on computer vision and screen time monitoring. We believe this data belongs exclusively to you.
No Video Uploads: The camera feed used to count your repetitions is processed 100% locally on your device using on-device machine learning (MediaPipe). No video, images, or biometric data ever leave your phone or are sent to our servers.
No App Usage Tracking: PushStop uses Apple’s official Screen Time API (Family Controls). Apple's architecture ensures that we do not have access to your browsing history, what specific content you view in blocked apps, or when exactly you use them. We only receive signals from iOS when your time limit expires.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit:
Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you explicitly email support).
Camera feeds, photos, or videos.
Your specific app usage data, browsing history, or screen time metrics.
Your location data (GPS).
3. Information We Collect
To provide our service and manage your subscription, we collect the following minimal data:
Purchase and Subscription Data: If you subscribe to PushStop Premium, your payment is processed by Apple's App Store. We use a third-party service, RevenueCat, to validate your purchase receipt and unlock premium features. RevenueCat collects anonymous transaction IDs to manage your subscription status. We do not have access to your credit card information.
Anonymous Diagnostic Data: If your app crashes, Apple may collect anonymized crash logs (if you have opted into sharing crash data with developers in your iOS device settings). We use this solely to fix bugs.
4. How We Use Your Information
Any minimal data we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:
To verify your subscription status and unlock premium features.
To diagnose bugs, fix crashes, and improve the stability of the app.
To respond to your customer support inquiries.
5. Third-Party Services
PushStop utilizes the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
Apple App Store: For processing payments. (Apple Privacy Policy)
RevenueCat: For validating and managing subscription receipts. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
Google MediaPipe: We use the open-source MediaPipe SDK by Google to process camera frames and count repetitions. This processing happens 100% locally on your device, and no video or image data is sent to Google's servers. (Google Privacy Policy)
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because PushStop operates almost entirely on-device, we do not have a centralized database of user accounts or workout history.
Anonymous Transaction Data: The anonymous transaction IDs collected by RevenueCat to validate your subscription are retained for as long as your subscription is active, or until you request deletion.
How to Request Deletion: You can request the deletion of any associated anonymous transaction data by contacting us at
support@pushstop.app
with your App Store purchase receipt. We will instruct RevenueCat to purge your anonymous identifier.
On-Device Data: To delete your workout history and preferences, simply delete the PushStop app from your device.
7. Children's Privacy
PushStop does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. While PushStop can be used to manage screen time, the subscription and account management features are intended for users aged 13 and older. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
