Thesis Topic: "CFD-Based Flow Analysis in Elbow Type Draft Tube for Small Hydro Plants"
The flow through the Draft Tube at different operating conditions under variable submergence levels was simulated using ANSYS CFX code.
A detailed analysis of the design parameter of the Kaplan hydro turbine with the different draft tubes was done.
