The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management is a laddered program that prepares students to have employable skills/competencies at every academic year level for them to be competitive in the hospitality industry locally and globally. This also prepares the students to be entrepreneurs. This curriculum includes laboratory experiences as well as local or international internship requirement in the industry.
Program Outcome
Graduates of Hospitality Management are expected to be able to:
• Produce food products and services complying with enterprise standards
• Apply management skills in food and beverages services and operations
• Perform an provide full guest cycle services for front office
• Perform and maintain various housekeeping services for guest and facility operations
• Plan and implement a risk management program to provide a safe and secure workplace
• Provide food and beverage service and manage the operation seamlessly based on industry standards.
Learning Outcome
Hospitality Management students are expected to be able to:
• Apply basic techniques of commercial cookery
• Apply standard safety procedures for handling foodstuff
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
• Organize and prepare food products and meals
• Prepare and store food in a safe and hygienic manner
Job Targets
Students meeting all the requirements for one year will be given a Certificate in Hospitality Management Program; for two year completion, the students will receive an Associate in Hospitality Management Program and upon completion of the three year program, the students will be granted a Diploma in Hospitality Management. Additional certification will be given each course when students pass the national skill certification given by the government.
