The program conducted a series of lectures, seminars, and workshops not only intended for the students of the program but as well as other students from other countries.

On June 5, 2020, the program conducted Econometrics - Big Data and Analytics Workshop which serves as a joint workshop project of MAE and MSE students. Topics discussed were Basic Statistics and Applied Analytics, Introductory to Econometrics and Regression Analysis, and Big Data Econometrics.

As part of the capability program on research and presentation, students of MS Economics are required to present their research proposal as the final requirement of Economic Research and Research 2. The faculty of the program serve as the panel of examiners during the presentation, so the possible adviser of the students will also be determined according to the specialization of the faculty. The research proposals were clustered according to the topics and specialization of the faculty.

After the Final Defense, the candidate revises the manuscript and submit to thesis committee for Final checking of the manuscript if it complies with the comments and suggestions during the Final Defense. After securing the approval of the thesis committee, the candidate proceeds to Thesis Editing and Copyright of his/her paper.
