An Online Faculty Evaluation System is used to assess the performance of full-time and part-time faculty members in the University, as well as in the Master of Science in Economics Program, to guarantee that quality education is maintained.
Students must complete the Faculty Evaluation Form before viewing their final semester grades or enrolling for the next semester. Students have unique access to their accounts and can evaluate their teachers' abilities in the same way.
As long as the Online Faculty Evaluation System is active, students and administrators can rate their professors at any time and from anywhere.
The results of the faculty evaluation are utilized as one of the criteria for academic rank advancement and teaching load assignment, in order to be promoted or granted greater load, instructors must receive at least a very satisfactory (VS) rating in their last three years of teaching.
Through the LAKBAY ARAL INCENTIVE, faculty members are encouraged to travel to educational, historical, and cultural sites to broaden their perspectives and help them form meaningful relationships within the organization. Faculty members use the incentive to visit industry partners and conduct benchmarking or immersion activities to gain a concrete understanding and appreciation of the expectations and demands. Faculty instruction and work processes should be matched with current field practices.
On November 22-23, 2019, a group of full-time faculty members from the program, including Dr. Aileen Camba and Dr. Ricardo Dizon, as well as undergraduate faculty Prof. Dr. Abraham Camba, Assoc. Prof. Norie L. Maniego and Assoc Prof. Casiana Payumo traveled to Cebu City to assess the University of San Carlos' best practices in curriculum, research, and extension, as well as explore cultural and historical sites in Cebu and Bohol.

The faculty of M.S. Economics program attended different trainings, workshop, and capacity building to ensure that knowledge and skills of the faculty is update and attune with the industry practices.
From 2017 to 2021, the faculty of Master of Science in Economics recorded an increase in the number of relevant local, national, and international trainings and seminars attended. This trainings and seminars is a form part of development of the faculty for their teaching strategies and improvement.
Dr. Ricardo Dizon finished the Python for Data Science and Analytics last October 11-22, 2021 organized by National Engineering Center through zoom. The course enable to be adept on the application of Python Software in conducting statistical and economic analysis, and in order to utilize in the subject Big Data Econometrics, Predictive Analytics and Analytics for Applied Business and Economics.
Dr. Melcah P. Monsura, Dr. Aileen L. Camba, and Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon completed the Qualitative and Quantitative Research Training conducted by Strand-Asia, Inc last October 1-15, 2021. The workshop aims to train the faculty in using both quantitative and qualitative research design and different statistical tools and techniques.
Dr. Aileen L. Camba attended the ROMO-In house Training Webinar on Parametric and Non-Parametric Statistical Inference for Research last November 10-13, 2020 through zoom. The aim of the training is to familiarize the use of the parametric and non-parametric tests in conducting research and statistical and data analysis.
Dr. Melcah P. Monsura attended the 1.5-day NVivo12 Plus & Piktochart Training-Workshop organized by Philippine Consortium Inc. and Philippine Consortium for Social Welfare and Human Development Research Inc. last February 18 and 19, 2021 through zoom. The aim of the training workshop is to adept the faculty in utilizing Nvivo in the analysis of qualitative data.
