Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon discussed his recent research findings on the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila in a radio program, DZMM, on April 28, 2020.
His research on the implementation of ECQ and COVID-19 caught the attention of other researchers, locally and internationally. He was also invited in different conferences abroad to discuss his research findings. He received invitations from United Research Forum, GalaTech Macao, and International Conference on Clinical & Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Switzerland.
Dr. Melcah Monsura was invited with his dissertation adviser, Dr. Philip Tuano, to write an article on income mobility. The article was published on the digital website and newspaper of BusinessMirror.

Dr. Dizon was invited as a researcher by the Rice Watch Action Network, Inc. His roles and responsibilities include data gathering activities, methodology formulation, presentation, and editing for a research paper entitled Rice Tariffication Law Impact Study. This project was done in September 2020 to December 2020. The result of the study was used in order to propose amendments in Rice Tariffication Law.
Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon with Dr. Melcah P. Monsura were invited by Commission on Population and Development to be part of Research Consultant for the Rapid Appraisal for the Development of Social Protection Program for Teen-age Mothers and their Children. The result of the study was presented in the Conference meet of Department of Social Welfare and Development, Commission on Population and Development, and National Center for Indigenous People. The study will be used in crafting policies and programs with regards to protection and prevention of teenage mothers .
They were also invited by Commission on Population and Development to be part of Research Consultant for the Research on Assisting Government Structures in Assessing Demographic Vulnerabilities in Planning for COVID-19 Pandemic Response. The result of the study was presented in the Executive Committee as part of the update that will be utilized by different LGU Units in the country in response to prevent COVID-19 in the country.
