The Master of Science in Economics Extension agenda is anchored in the 6-Pillars PUP Extension agenda:
The M.S. Economics Extension Agenda 1 – Provision of Statistical Training and Consultancy is anchored with PUP Extension Agenda 5 - Science Engineering & Technology and Agenda 1- Social Enterprise, Business, Economics, and Finance. The transfer of knowledge in the use of statistical software to analyze economic and social problems enables the recipient of an extension program to conduct an in-depth analysis of data in more efficient and effective ways.
The M.S. Economics Extension Agenda 2 – Planning and Development Assistance is anchored in the PUP Agenda 6 – Governance and Law. The extension program of M.S. Economics aims to provide assistance in conducting institutional and national planning, fiscal management, good governance, urban and rural development, taxation, fiscal accountability, and gender issues.
The M.S. Economics Extension Agenda 3 – Research & Feasibility Studies is anchored in the three agendas of PUP Extension which are: Agenda 2- Health, Wellness, and Safety, Agenda 3 - Environment, Conservation, and Sustainable Development, Agenda 4 - Education, Communication, and the Arts, Gender and Development.
