To realize the M.S. Economics Extension program, the M.S. Economics enter an agreement with the Agriculture Credit Policy Council in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding
The first coordination meeting, training need assistance and assessment of the extension programs and projects between the PUP Master of Science in Economics Program the Agricultural Credit Policy Center began in June 29, 2017 in the presence of Ms. Jocelyn Alma R. Badiola, Executive Director of Agricultural Credit Policy Center,Mr. Norman William S. Kraft, Director Administrative, Financial and Management Staff, Dr. Manolito S. San Jose, Chief of Graduate School Research and Extension, Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon, Chairperson of the Master of Science in Economics Program , and Dr. Gregoria M. Guce, faculty of the Master of Science in Economics Program.
Thereafter, the initial coordination between ACPC and PUP MS Economics Program, were followed by several consultations regarding the contents and training needs to be specified in the Memorandum of Agreement
Due to the pandemic situation that occurred in 2020, the coordination with ACPC for the Extension Program was deferred and it was formally officiated on August 26, 2021, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

As part of its Economics Extension Program the Master of Science in Economics Program anchored in Extension Agenda 1- The provision of Statistical Training and Consultancy, the program conducted a two-session seminar-workshop on the Fundamentals of Analytics and Its Importance to Government Operations and Introduction to Statistics Using Statistical Software last September 2021 through the zoom platform. The activity was attended by extension recipients in the different offices of ACPC
Among the notable participants in the said seminar-workshops were: ACPC Director Norman William S. Kraft, Division Chief Analyn Garay, Division Chief Emmalyn Guinto, Division Chief, Jenny Aspilan, Division Chief Joel Matira, Division Chief Kennedy Garabiag.

Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon discussed the Fundamentals of Analytics and its importance in Government Operations as part of the extension activity of M.S. Economics. Dr. Dizon had emphasized the role of analytics in agricultural production, human resources, and planning. Also, he emphasized that the analytics serves as mechanism of the government to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services in the public and private sector

During the first session of the extension project of the M.S. Economics last September 17, 2021, the participants were given an activity to assess the individual and organizational competency skills with regards to the application and appreciation of analytics in their respective workplace station

The second session of the extension project of the M.S. Economics program is the introduction of Statistics Using Statistical Software. Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon served as speaker during this extension project who discusses the fundamental of utilization of statistical software i.e., Stata Software. At the end of the activity, Dr. Dizon assessed if there is a transfer of knowledge obtained by the participants by giving them a statistical problem that they need to present their analysis using Stata.
Another extension activity is the seminar on Descriptive Statistics and Basic Inferential Statistics Using Stata which emphasized the use of Stata in analyzing quantitative data. Mr. Richmond Keith Simeon, MAE student, discussed the measures of center, measures of dispersion, and measures of relative standing. Meanwhile, the inferential statistics discussed were correlation and hypothesis testing.

Another extension activity was officiated by M.S. Economics program is the introduction of Logistic Regression. Dr. Ricardo L. Dizon discussed the procedures and importance of using logistic regression using Stata.

The session discussed the step in conducting survey operations including the planning, resource planning, and necessary to incorporate during survey operations.
Since the ACPC is involved in Survey Operations for the development of programs and projects for financial aid for farmers, the M.S. Economics developed an extension project on Survey Operations. It aimed to train the ACPC on conducting survey operations to capture projects that are relevant to the Institutional objectives and targets of the institutions.
As part of the Extension Agenda No. 3- Research & Feasibility Study, Dr. Aileen L. Camba conducted seminar-workshop on research design. Dr. Camba discussed the type of research design and its importance. The aim of the activity is to have a transfer knowledge in conducting research by knowing the appropriate research design to be used for specific objectives.
