OVERVIEW
OVERVIEW
The Graduate School Research and Extension Office functions as a pivotal unit responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of all research endeavors within the institution. Its primary mandate is to facilitate the development of scholarly studies that directly address and contribute to both local and national priorities. Furthermore, the office oversees the comprehensive dissemination of academic output, managing the production of various scholarly publications, including journals, thesis and dissertation abstracts, monographs, and newsletters.
The extension office, in collaboration with the Program Chairs and the Dean, is charged with developing and executing outreach programs. These initiatives are meticulously crafted to align with the university’s overarching mission and strategic directions, while drawing upon the specific expertise and services housed within the graduate programs. This dual function ensures that the Graduate School not only generates new knowledge through rigorous research but also effectively applies that knowledge to serve and benefit the broader community.
