CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
The following are requirements for admission to the BSOA programs:
Incoming Freshmen
1. The PUP College Entrance Exam (PUPCET) must have been passed.
2. High school grades must be at least 82%.
3. A minimum of 82% in English is required.
4. Has to have passed the college's interview.
Shiftees
1. At least one (1) year of residence in a previous college is needed, along with a GWA of 2.0 or above and no incomplete, failing, or withdrawn/dropped courses.
2. Passed the college screening.
3. Filed a Shifting Form duly released, accepted and acknowledged by the releasing college, accepting college, and OUR respectively.
4. Applications for program shifts are only accepted if there are slots available.
Transferees
1. With least one (1) year of residence in a prior college or university is required, without any incomplete, failed, or withdrawn/dropped courses.
2. Passed the college screening.
3. The program's acceptance of transferees' applications depends on the number of available slots.
Retention Requirements
1. None of the units completed in the prior semester had a failing grade of 75%.
2. With good moral character.
3. Completed the course within the allotted number of years, or, in some situations, with a one-year extension.
