Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep)

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep.) is a four-year course offered in the College of Business, designed to provide undergraduate students an in-depth understanding and appreciation of new venture operations in small business enterprises. It aims to equip young students with entrepreneurial spirit to realize a vibrant and developing economy in the hands of the Filipinos and develop desirable qualities of leadership, social concern and moral values among them.

Objectives of the Program

1. Develop skills for planning and sound decision-making.

2. Formulate policies and strategies for entrepreneurial ventures.

3. Demonstrate good human relations and Ethical Standards.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements for the BSEntrep programs are as follows:

Incoming Freshmen

1. Must have passed the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET)

2. Must have a high school average of 82% and above

3. Must have a grade of 82% in English

4. Must have passed the interview given by the college

Shiftees

1. Must have completed at least one (1) year residence in previous college with GWA of 2.0 or higher and with no failing grade, incomplete, and/ or withdrawn/ dropped course.

2. Passed the college screening

3. Filed a Shifting Form duly released, accepted and acknowledged by the releasing college, accepting college, and OUR respectively.

4. Acceptance of application for shifting to the program is subject to the availability of slots.

Transferees

1. Must have completed at least one (1) year residence in previous college /university with no failing grade, incomplete, and/or withdrawn/dropped course.

2. Passed the college screening.

3. Acceptance of application for transferees to the program is subject to the availability of slots.

Retention Requirements

The College being a branch of the University and in consonance with the academic rules, the students must comply the following:

1. No failures of grade equivalent to 75% on the total units enrolled in the previous semester;

2. With good moral character;

3. And finished the course in the prescribed number of years or with an extension of one year on a case to case basis.
