Nochchimoddai is a small village located in the Vavuniya district of Sri Lanka. This village is known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and friendly people.

The village has a rich history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the ancient Anuradhapura Kingdom. Nochchimoddai is famous for its temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is considered one of the most sacred places in Sri Lanka. The temple is surrounded by lush green forests, adding to its beauty and serenity.

Nochchimoddai is also known for its picturesque landscapes, including rolling hills, paddy fields, and coconut groves. The village is surrounded by a variety of flora and fauna, including elephants, leopards, and various species of birds. The village also has a lake, which attracts many tourists and locals for fishing and boating.

The people of Nochchimoddai are warm and welcoming, and the village is known for its close-knit community. The villagers are proud of their cultural heritage and are deeply involved in preserving their traditions and customs. They celebrate several festivals throughout the year, including the famous Pongal festival, which is a celebration of the harvest season.

This is Dimuthu Preschool . They are located in Bogaswewa, Vavuniya. One of the rural areas and families in that village live a very difficult life. With the idea and initiation of 56 Infantry Division, Army Camp, Kokeliya in Vavuniya, @pumilanka started helping these students.

Initially we provide basic stationery items, white boards, educational toys like whatever the main things that we lacking their.

And from the month of February we have started providing breakfast to them just like we provide to our other nurseries in Nochchimoddai.

We are so happy that the Dimuthu preschool teacher and parents are very grateful for the support we are providing and doing their best for the development of these students education and future. 

We Pumi Tech (Pvt) Ltd has established a new preschool in Santhasolai, Nochchimoddai. Ranu Ritual is sponsored by the preschool and maintained by Pumi Tech. We opened our new preschool on January 4th 2023. Our special guest was respected Brigadier Sanjeewa Perera and many army officers from the 56th Division and government professionals. 

Our children preformed nice cultural dances and events. It is an opportunity for them to demonstrate their abilities to others. Brigadier Sanjeewa Perera also gave a speech as our special guest.

For the first time, we started digitalizing education using smart TV in Kalaivaani Preschool. We hope to provide the best possible care for our children. Preschool education is life's fundamental education. Also, it is very important to a student’s life. We provide the uniforms and other stuff as well. 

The villages held this type of ceremony after ten years. There were no preschools in their village. There were no preschools in their village. Those who lived in 

Santhasolai had a hard life. These families cannot afford to pay for their children's education.  We, Pumi Tech (Pvt) Ltd provide them with everything they require to study with the support of Ranu Ritual. We do our best for these innocent kids. We hope they will be bright students and decent people in the future. Parents were overjoyed as well. They look like they have hopes for their children now. We hope to develop our work day by day to support innocent people. 

Thai pongal is a celebration to thank the Sun, Mother Nature and the various farm animals that help to contribute to a bountiful harvest. Celebrated over four days, Pongal also marks the beginning of the Tamil month called Thai, which is considered an auspicious month.

1st of December 2022 was a very special day to Pumi Tech (pvt) ltd. We have been able to built a house for one of the most vulnerable families in Manikkavalau, Vavuniya, Sri Lanka.

We are so grateful to inform that we have handed over the key to the family with the initiation of Aryan Nava the founder of Pumi Tech (Pvt)ltd and with the help and  donations from kindhearted sponsors from Canada, we have been able to made this project a success. So much thanks and blessings going out to everyone of you who joined hands to this great initiative to support this family.

Building projects such as homes and schools, the aim being to break the cycle of poverty, transform communities, and awaken hope for children and families there.

A safe home provides an essential base for children to grow up in a nurturing environment, free from fear and the threat of intruders and the harsh elements of Sri Lanka.  That stability ripples into every area of their growth and sense of promise for the future.
