This drum set is one of the best looking I have ever seen. This is a fully lacquered drum set, not wrapped, so the drums sing. The shells are Maple/Walnut and sound better than they look. This is the coveted white badge Saturn kit which were some of the best drums ever made.

This set includes black nickel hardware, which was a rarer option and harder to find. These drums have been played and do show some signs of use, with some defects shown in pics. However, the finish is so rich on these that it is hard to tell. The 24” has a hoop that was damaged in shipping. It was repaired and is fully functional, but it needs noted. The 16” shows signs on the inside from another drum being nested inside of it during shipping.

Overall these are some of the best drums on the market. These are top level pro tier kits, selling for 1/3rd of the new price.

This DOES include the 12” tom mount, but not the cymbal stand.

Tama Imperialstar 1970's Drum set in Metallic Blue 

This set is awesome and very hard to find in this color. Reverb has no sales of a full kit in this color in its history. This kit also has a rare Virgin bass drum which may have been custom ordered. Novus Polish has been used on all drums, removing most of the small scratches they have had over their life. But as a kit that is 50 years old would be expected to, it does have some dings and scratches here and there. Novus removed most that can be removed, but a few do remain. I did go through this kit thoroughly, it is an awesome kit with the big re-rings and zola coat interior. 

The snare, throne and hardware shown do NOT come with the drums, this listing is for the shell pack only. It is all available separately though besides the throne.

13” x 9” - 8/10 condition overall. Missing no components. Muffler and all parts in place and functional, wrap has a couple scratches but looks as good as can be expected. Hardware has some pitting and small rust spots as to be expected. Deeper cleaning would remove it.

14” x 10” - 7.5/10 condition overall. Missing the muffler. All other parts are accounted for and functional. Wrap is in good shape, 8/10 for its age, hardware is 7.5/10 for its age. Hardware has some pitting and small rust spots as to be expected. Deeper cleaning would remove it.

16” x 16” - 5/10 condition overall. Hardware is all present,  2 unoriginal wingnuts on the leg brackets. All parts functional. Wrap is cracked all over, pulling up in 2-3 areas but is not as bad as it looks. Wrap will be fine if you don’t mess with it too often. Certainly the roughest of the group. Muffler missing knob but other hardware there. Hardware 5/10 condition, has pitting and spots of rust on rods and rims.

22” x 14” - 8/10 condition overall. missing 1 rod and claw, missing bass drum legs. Has attachment on the front that mimics legs. Original BS head, very good condition overall. Hardware is solid, better than I expected.
