An FIU-Based Nonprofit Mentorship

Pathway to Pre-health Mentorship is a nonprofit mentorship dedicated to guiding first-generation, low-income, and minority high school students toward successful careers in the pre-health field. Our mission is to provide mentorship and support, helping these students navigate any and all pre-health fields, while fostering a sense of belonging in the pre-health community.

Our mission is to connect dedicated FIU pre-health students and high school students aspiring to enter the healthcare field. Through our mentorship program, FIU pre-health mentors will provide invaluable guidance, support and resources to help high school students navigate their pre-health journey with confidence. Our initiative aims to ensure that incoming pre-health students are well-equipped to achieve their academic and career goals. By offering personalized mentorship and access to essential resources, we strive to empower the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors consists of passionate and dedicated pre-health students from Florida International University (FIU), each committed to supporting and uplifting our pre-health community. With firsthand experience navigating the challenges of pursuing a career in healthcare, our board members are uniquely positioned to provide guidance, mentorship, and resources to those at various stages of their educational journey.

We understand that the path to a career in health can be complex and competitive, which is why we are especially committed to helping high school students explore and prepare for this exciting field. Our board works to offer advice, share resources, and connect students with the tools they need to succeed in their pre-health education. Whether you're just beginning to consider a career in healthcare or looking for insight into the application process, we are here to help.

We aim to make the journey to becoming a healthcare professional more accessible, empowering high school students to take confident steps toward their future in health. Together, we are building a supportive network that encourages academic and professional growth for all pre-health students.

I am a pre-med student, pursing a major in Biological Sciences and Natural and Applied Sciences. I aim to become a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician.
