The objective of this project is to design and provide an effective way to surplus a drone's flying time. This will allow drones to fly a set course of waypoints, and land to have a new battery installed when their current battery runs low on power.
Our Team
We Team 10, "Palm Tree Engineering", are excited to show what we have done so far as an engineering senior design team here at THE University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Our project revolves around specifically the interface that will allow a drone to switch batteries without needing the operator to do it manually. Through many variable designs and potential hardware components, our team searched and tested to see what that interface would look like and how it would function.
We plan to make a product so simple yet amazingly convenient, it will become a staple for all drone users. From hobbyists, professionals, commercial use, and even military use, the product will be known and wanted all over.
