The Self-Assessment Team
Self-Assessment Team
Appointed by the Presbytery Leadership Team, members of the Self-Assessment Team gathered monthly, and sometimes even more often, from February 2020 through May 2023.
The team brought lived experience from their various congregations, presbytery committees, professions, and their wider communities, to the challenge of self-assessment work.

Implementation Team
The Self-Assessment Team recommends that a smaller Race & Equity Report Implementation Team of about half a dozen people be appointed by the Presbytery Leadership Team (PLT) to begin work in fall 2023. The Implementation Team will be responsible for helping PTCA's structures implement the recommendations of the report over then next five years and then reassessing the goals.
The Implementation Team's role is not/ will not be to "do the work alone," but rather to assist, receive reports, and collaborate toward implementation by all of us in the PTCA's structures - many hands and hearts will be needed!
There are many ways to be involved in this effort, and we welcome you indicating your interest in taking part below.
