Grades for this course will be based on your performance in eight areas:

Participation: 10%

Discussion Questions: 15%

Practice Lecture #1: 10%

Your Performance on Lecture: 60%

Peer Feedback: 10%

Self-Critique: 30%

Practice Lecture #2: 10%

Your Performance: 60%

Peer Feedback: 10%

Self-Critique: 30%

Online Teaching Unit: 10%

Your Online Teaching Unit: 80%

Peer Feedback: 20%

Syllabus Development: 20%

PSYC1310 Syllabus: 30%

Other PSYC Syllabus: 70%

Critique of Blackhart Teaching Philosophy: 5%

Teaching Statement: 20%

Grading Scale

A: 90 – 100%

B: 80 – 89%

C: 70 – 79%

F: < 70%

Note that a grade of B or higher is required for all graduate students in Psychology.
