Academic Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
It is the policy of ETSU to accommodate students with disabilities, pursuant to federal law, state law and the University’s commitment to equal educational access.
Students with disabilities requiring academic accommodations should 1) seek assistance from Disability Services at ETSU; 2) bring a Faculty Accommodation Form to the instructor from Disability Services indicating the academic accommodations that may be needed (Faculty accommodation forms are provided to students through Disability Services at 423-439-8346); and 3) communicate to Dr. Blackhart about which academic accommodations you will need during the semester and how that may be accomplished.

Safe Space
Dr. Blackhart a member of the Safe Zone Ally community network and is available to listen and support you in a safe and confidential manner. As a Safe Zone Ally, she will help you connect with resources on campus to address problems you may face that interfere with your academic and social success on campus as it relates to issues surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity. Her goal is to help you be successful and to maintain a safe and equitable campus.
