Winston Kwame Abroampa
is an accomplished scholar and educational leader with over 27 years of experience in teaching and research across various levels of Ghana’s education system. Before his appointment as the first Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Media, Arts and Communication, he served as Founding Dean of the Faculty of Educational Studies at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, since 2019. Prof. Abroampa holds a PhD in Curriculum Development with Teacher Education from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, as well as a Master of Philosophy degree in Curriculum Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Prof. Abroampa’s research interests include curriculum implementation and evaluation, educational policy analysis, gender-responsive pedagogies, and teacher professional identity.
