Professor of Psychology, and Dean School of Liberal Arts, ASBM University, India. She received her education at the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India (Centre of Advanced Study), with a Masters’ degree in Psychology that is equalized to a British Master’s degree (UK-NARIC), M.Phil and PhD. She is a Member of the National Academy of Psychology (NAOP), India.
Eirene has spent her life educating on various concepts in psychology, behavioural science and management studies and the application of those concepts in real life situations. Apart from teaching, she emphasizes on prioritizing the mental health issues of her students and tackling it. Understanding a student’s potential and equipping them with skills in order to face the competitive environment and win over the situation, is key to a successful career and life. Dr Eirene has worked in the Industry, both as Consultant and Trainer. As HR Consultant she completed various HR projects in Middle East countries as well and conducted numerous executive development programs for Corporate and Educational Institutions both in India and outside countries.
In her 30+ years of work experience, she has contributed in research field by publishing research papers in International and National journals, presenting research papers in conferences, contributing chapters in various books. Eirene has authored a book, titled “Corporate Conflict Management: Concepts and Skills” which is used to teach management modules in various colleges across India. Her area of research includes ‘employee engagement’, ‘creativity and innovation’, ‘entrepreneurship’, ‘Leadership’, ‘meta-linguistic and reading awareness’, ‘psyco-social effect on conflict resolution’, ‘motivation’, and ‘team building in virtual environments’.
