An annual career fair held in the Washington, DC area for students to network with possible employers that meet the requirements for service after graduation.
Research and employment experience during the academic year in relevant Penn State research centers.
Professional development opportunities through lectures, mentoring, and training.
The service aspect, coordinated by OPM, where students will serve in a government agency during the summers while they are enrolled in the SFS program. This service experience will give them an opportunity to solve specific real problems in information assurance.
