Reimbursement

Current SFS Cohort Only

The SFS Scholar has a $6,000 Professional Development Fund.  Scholars are cautioned to hold approximately $2,000 to cover travel to the annual career fair in Washington DC. Here you will find the forms you need for reimbursing your spending.

• Laptop Reimbursement

  • One laptop per student, on the first year in the program

  • Peripherals are permitted

  • Maximum reimbursement is $3,000

• Book Reimbursement

  • All *REQUIRED* class textbooks are permitted

  • Optional textbooks are not approved under this category

  • No rollover from one year to the next

• Professional Development Funds

  • Prior approval is required.  Contact Dr. Lee for approval.

  • All certifications must be from the permitted list.  Certification refunds will only be granted once the certification is earned.

• Professional Development Allowance Balance Report

  • Check here to find out what your balances are

• Non-Employee Reimbursement Form (for scholars who are *NOT* PSU employees to be reimbursed)

  • This document should be submitted with your first request for reimbursement if you are not a PSU employee

  • All PSU employees (wage, learning assistants, lab techs, etc) use the employee reimbursement system and DO NOT need this form
