Welcome to The Center for Surface Science, Department of Physics, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. The center concentrates on fabricating various cost effective and less toxic solar cells. We have expertise on fabricating CIS, CIGS, CZTS thin film solar cells. Dye sensitised solar cells with natural dyes and Perovskites solar cells are our current research interests.

Other than Solar cells our group members also work on Dielectrics, Super capacitors, Batteries and Functional Oxide materials.
