The Just Health Circle (JHC) is where residents, communities, and subject matter experts work together to minimize inequities in Georgia and across the greater American South.
What’s an equity ecosystem?
An equity ecosystem is a coalition or diverse network of stakeholders who use the concept of “equity” as a lens to expose injustices and to identify solutions.
What is the Just Health Circle?
The Just Health Circle is where communities and subject matter experts meet and work together to minimize inequities across Georgia and the greater American South. The coalition functions as an equity ecosystem and offers a safe space for stakeholders to work in close proximity with one another.
Our vision is to advance health equity and minimize health disparities to ensure that everyone in Atlanta, Georgia and the greater American South has the opportunity to achieve their full health potential. Our vision is community driven and place based. We look to honor the lived experiences of people by using history, research, public policy and social innovation to inform our discussions and advocacy work.
The Just Health Circle convenes the last Tuesday of every month from 1:00-3:00 PM EST
