Hello Friends of Roadeo,   

We are reaching out in hopes of partnering with you for our upcoming School Bus Road-e-o. Springtime marks our annual School Bus Driver Safety Competition—commonly known as the Road-e-o! This year’s event will take place on June 6th, 2026, hosted at Puyallup Transportation Support Campus in the Puyallup School District. We are humbly requesting donations and sponsorships to help make this important safety event a success.

Suggested contributions could include:

• Raffle baskets       • Merchandise or branded swag  • Services or experiences
• Event tickets    • Door prizes or gift cards                • Monetary sponsorships
• Food and beverages for approximately 150 volunteers and contestants

The Road-e-o is a fun, high-energy event centered on safety, skill-building, and professional excellence. School bus drivers compete in a series including a behind-the-wheel skills course with 13-events, DOT regulation pre-trip inspection, and written exam. Top competitors advance to the Washington state competition hosted by WAPT and may continue on to national-level events hosted by NAPT.

PSDTA represents 35 school districts and 2 tribal compact schools across King County, Pierce County, and Bainbridge Island. As a not-for-profit organization (Tax ID: 91-1428521), we are comprised of volunteer Washington State Certified Driver Trainers dedicated to hiring, training, licensing, and supporting school bus drivers throughout our region.

All funds raised directly support driver safety initiatives, including Roadeo support, and our scholarship for the Driver Instructor Training Course (DITC) in Vancouver, WA, hosted by ESD 112.

This event would not be possible without the generous support of community partners like you. We would be grateful for your consideration and support. Donation receipts or procurement forms are available upon request.
