Flashlight Video Camera is a video recording app that allows users to:
Preview and record video
Record microphone audio
Control the device flashlight
Save completed recordings directly to the Photos library
PSd Apps does not operate servers for storing user recordings and does not receive or access videos created with the app.
PSd Apps does not collect, receive, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information through Flashlight Video Camera.
The app:
Does not require an account
Does not use advertising
Does not use third-party analytics
Does not use behavioral tracking
Does not use tracking technologies
Flashlight Video Camera requests access to the device camera so users can preview and record video.
Camera access is used only while the app is providing camera functionality.
The app does not:
Remotely access the camera
Upload the live camera preview
Send recorded video to PSd Apps
Analyze camera content on PSd Apps servers
Flashlight Video Camera requests microphone access so audio can be included in recorded videos.
Microphone access is used only for video-recording functionality.
The app does not separately upload, transmit, analyze, or store microphone recordings on PSd Apps servers.
Flashlight Video Camera requests permission to add completed videos to the user’s Photos library.
This permission is used only to save videos recorded by the user.
The app does not:
Scan the user’s Photos library
Analyze existing photos or videos
Upload Photos library content to PSd Apps
Access unrelated photos or videos
Camera, microphone, and Photos permissions can be changed at any time in the device’s Settings app.
Videos and audio created with Flashlight Video Camera remain on the user’s device and are saved to the Photos library.
PSd Apps does not receive, store, review, process, or have access to these recordings.
Users control how their recordings are stored, shared, or deleted.
Flashlight Video Camera allows unlimited regular video recording without using the flashlight.
The free version also includes a limited number of successfully saved recordings in which the flashlight was used.
To manage this free limit, the app may store:
The number of qualifying free recordings already used
Whether the free limit has been reached
Whether Lifetime Unlock is active
This information may be stored locally on the device or through Apple-provided iCloud storage associated with the user’s Apple Account.
PSd Apps does not receive access to the user’s:
Apple Account password
iCloud files
Contacts
Photos
Personal documents
Other private iCloud content
Flashlight Video Camera offers an optional one-time non-consumable purchase called Lifetime Unlock.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
PSd Apps does not receive or have access to:
Payment card numbers
Bank account information
Apple Account passwords
Billing credentials
Other payment details
The app receives purchase and entitlement information from Apple only as needed to determine whether Lifetime Unlock has been purchased or restored.
Apple processes App Store purchases according to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
PSd Apps does not maintain a server-based copy of:
Recorded videos
Recorded microphone audio
Photos library content
Flashlight-assisted recording history
Users can delete recorded videos through the Photos app.
Users can remove Flashlight Video Camera from their device to remove locally stored application data, subject to information that may remain in:
Device backups
iCloud storage
App Store purchase history
Other services controlled by Apple
Because PSd Apps does not receive or store recordings on its servers, PSd Apps cannot retrieve, restore, view, or remotely delete those recordings.
Flashlight Video Camera uses Apple system services and frameworks that are necessary to provide its functionality, including:
Camera access
Microphone access
Saving videos to Photos
iCloud-related storage where applicable
StoreKit for in-app purchases
These services are operated by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
Recordings and application information remain subject to the security protections and access controls of the user’s device and Apple services.
Users should keep their device secure and consider the privacy of other people before recording, saving, or sharing video and audio.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the features or privacy practices of Flashlight Video Camera change.
