Design Decision Matrix

While plastic bin won the heating trap category, we chose to use the aluminum cans. We felt that aluminum scrap could be used rathe than cans and would be a globally abundant material. 

In the end we also chose to go with an all wood design rather than using the concrete base, this makes the system far more simple to build and easier to move. 

In the future an active system will ideally be integrated in to better reflect Salma's ambitions aswell as enable more control fotr whoever is using it.
