We have over 3,000 books and 35 laptops! Woohoo! Stop by our library (on the 1st floor) or the media center (on the 3rd floor) and you'll see vibrant spaces where kids are learning and having fun!

Hi! I'm Ms. Kirschenbaum! This is my third year at PS 452 and my 13th as an elementary school librarian. Prior to joining the PS 452 team, I worked as a school librarian in the Bronx and also outside of my hometown, near Philadelphia, PA. I have my Master's degree in Library Information Science from Drexel University and my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Delaware. When I'm not at 452, I'm volunteering my time as a New York City School Library Association (NYCSLA) board member, and I regularly blog and write for citation websites, such as EasyBib.com, BibMe.org, and CitationMachine.net.
