The mission of the PS 145 Library is to:

Meet the curricular needs of students and teachers,

Provide students and teachers with materials in a wide range of format and difficulty to supplement classroom learning,

Develop a collection with diverse perspectives that reflect the lived experiences of students,

Nurture a love of independent reading, and 

Teach students information-seeking and literacy skills.
