Defend our Schools from Budget Cuts!
FAMILIES! Mayor Adams is planning ANOTHER round of excessive budget cuts to our public schools. We need to tell our elected officials that we will NOT tolerate more cuts! The link below is to a letter writing campaign sponsored by the UFT (our teachers' union) to call on our officials to stop the cuts! It's easy to complete and gives you a pre-written letter to send (though adding your own comments are welcomed!). Please take the time to fill it out and share with everyone you know! We must stand up for our students and our public schools!
¡Familias! El alcalde Adams está planeando otra ronda de recortes excesivos a nuestras escuelas públicas. Debemos decirle a nuestros funcionarios elegidos que jamás toleraremos más recortes. El siguiente enlace es para una campaña de cartas organizada por la UFT (nuestro sindicato de maestros) para llamar a nuestros funcionarios para que detengan los recortes. Es fácil de completar y le brinda una carta prescrita para enviar (¡aunque pongan sus propios comentarios también!). ¡Por Favor tómese el tiempo para completarlo y compartirlo con todos los que conozcan! ¡Debemos defender a nuestros estudiantes y nuestras escuelas públicas!
