Simply put... I'm a man who wants to give it all away.

The "secrets", the strategies, the models, the everything... If its going to help you grow, and I have access to it, then you get it. Period.

My vision is to help not only our team but also kids entering entrepreneurship. I love helping kids know and understand that there is more to what they want to do then what is taught to them. Could you imagine being told that you could start your own business in middle or high school? Could you imagine how much time you'd have to fail forward?!

✅️2014 - I became a licensed REALTOR. 

✅️2015 - Longleaf Pine REALTORS Rookie of the Year.

✅️2015 - Served on the Agent Leadership Council at KW. I served on the Education, Finance and Growth Committees where we laid the foundation to grow a more profitable office by empowering our agents.

✅️2015 - Joined the Cape Fear Kiwanis as a way to give back to our community.

✅️2016 - I helped build a real estate team from scratch. We did $12M our first year with an avg sales price of approx $150k.

✅️2016 - Awarded the KW Cultural Award out of the Southeastern Region of the US.

✅️2016/2017 - Served as the CEO of KW Fayetteville. We broke records every month with a focus on the agents and their needs.

✅️2018 - After realizing we needed a Productivity Coaching program to help the agents who were struggling, I volunteered to step down from the CEO position to build the PC program from scratch.

I launched out of two KW offices and we broke records every month.

First year, out of one office, we were able to have 136 closings in the program with the help of The Locker Room Real Estate Coaching systems.

✅️2018- Launched the "Proven By Ruben Podcast" where we highlighted our own CEO of the Assoc at the time including entrepreneurs all over the Carolinas.

✅️2018/2019 - Served as Team Captain within The Locker Room Real Estate Coaching where I coached other coaches on how to grow a productivity coaching business. Later, I served as VP of Biz Dev within The Locker Room Coaching.

✅️2019 - I started Proven By Ruben Biz Coaching and coached team leaders, firm owners, builders and business owners outside of real estate. All of them broke all time records in profit and most are still thriving in our local market today. 

✅️2020 - Recognized as one of the Top 20 Fayetteville Real Estate Agents on Social Media by PropertyShark

✅️2020 - Grew a team to 58 agents my first year at eXp Realty 

✅️2020 - Trained and became an eXp Certified Mentor to help new agents close their first 3 transactions.

✅️2020 - Growth Partner at The Locker Room Coaching where I coached firms to increase growth, productivity, profitability and retention. Our region was the best performing region while I was there.

✅️2020 - Started a free YT playlist agents and investors could use to see how to invest in real estate. Intent was to give free info that could potentially change family trees.

✅️2020 - Created a course called the "PASS Play" which meant Prospecting Automated Sales System. Created as leverage for my own database but for other agents to use as well.

✅️2021 - Spoke at a Mruwat Enterprise event about growth with teams. This team had 1000+ agents.

✅️2021 - I became a certified eXp Instructor and taught thousands of agents on how to build a business and how to manage their time. 

✅️2021 - Served on the Legislative Committee at the Longleaf Pine REALTORS.

✅️2021 - Spoke at the FINCON (Financial Conference) where 1000s of people attend to learn how to make a more profitable business.

✅️2021 - Served on the Arts and Heritage Committee for the town of Hope Mills, NC

✅️2021 - Bought an RV to rent out. Carolina Traveling Marshmallow. We've grown on avg 19% YoY in revenue. We've coached other owners on our SOPs to help them scale as well.

✅️2021/2022 - Actively scaled our real estate investing business where we bought and rehabbed homes to rent out for Short/Mid/Long Term Renters with no partners or hard money. We've broke our own records every year. 

✅️2023 - I was honored to become the eXp University Certified Instructor of the Year!

✅️2023 - Became a partner in a local payment processesing company that helps local businesses lower their processing fees.

✅️2023 - Launched "Find Fayetteville". A YouTube/ IG channel highlighting Fayettevilles finest business owners and events.

✅️2023 - Honored to go in The Locker Room Real Estate Coaching Hall of Fame.

✅️2024 - I was honored to become eXp Certified Mentor of the Year (out of 8000 mentors)

✅️2024 - Host on the KGCI Radio Station discussing hacks, strategies, etc for real estate teams, firms, investors and agents.

✅️2024 - Served on the Longleaf Pine REALTORS Education Committee 

✅️2024 - I lead the REALTOR Rally Task Force where we broke an all time record in vendors and got close to our record of attendees. 

✅️2024 - Finished the Year with a real estate team with approx 250 agents in 34 states with a closed volume of $209M+.

✅️2025 - Serving on the Longleaf Pine REALTORS New Professional Network Committee 

✅️2025 - Serving on the Polytechnic High School board where we help enhance the experience for students

✅️2025 - I was also honored to be the key note speaker at the Polytechnic High School Graduation and Awards Ceremony

✅️2025 - With a team, we created a priority system called "The Build-Up" for builders to use to promote their listings/neighborhoods.

✅️2025 - Currently hosting a 6 week program called FastCAP that refines business systems, strategies, habits of successful agents, and growing a pipeline of business.

On top of that I've made 100's of visits to Cumberland County schools for years where I talk with students about entrepreneurship and the options they have in life.

There are many, many, many failures in all of that but I did want to raise to the challenge that was presented to me.

The Real Behind the Scenes

Father and a husband.

Grew up with a single mom (tough as nails) who raised two boys on a teacher’s salary. 

Moved out when I was 19 into a foreclosure with no heat (if you dont count opening the oven).

Single father at the age of 20 and raised her since she was 3 weeks old.

During my first half of being licensed, we were on food stamps, WIC, daycare assistance, etc. 

I was dual career. First 10 mths of getting license I was also working at UPS (12yr career) before I quit to go full time into real estate. 

Worked nights at UPS. Many nights getting 2-3hrs of sleep before the day began with my youngest daughter.

Wrote “time to get to work” on all clocks in my house and put inspirational quotes on both TVs to help me get thru the times I wanted to quit.

Had smear campaigns about my character once I left my last firm (the red one) that spread like wildfire while they went after my license 3 times the first year I had left them.

I’ve lost more money and “friends” entering real estate than I ever thought imaginable.

This is why we push "who you are in business with matters"

Yes, we have some amazing wins, but it takes work to get there.

We don't sugar coat anything and give you the raw details to make sure you succeed.
