We would like to take this opportunity to give you a brief overview of some of the value added services we have pioneered and currently provide.
Managers are the nerve centre of any work place, bringing direction, coordination and leadership while driving the business forward. With a corporate or flat management structure, such as that practiced at Protea Security, it is much easier for managers to be highly engaged in projects. This gives more time and energy for the manager to be engaged in achieving results and exceeding expectations. The team also gains greater sense of ownership which leads to higher levels of engagement that drives exceptional performance.
It goes without saying that engagement is most effective when hands-on. Protea Security, undertake to be in attendance at weekly security meeting attended by management or the regional manager or on-site supervisor.
After our visits are taken by the team of off-site–managers who perform these duties in support of the dedicated management team.

Protea and by extension Protea Security has fostered a close working relationship over many years with the police force.
A special relationship in which information on criminal activities and criminal trends are readily forthcoming. This is enabling Protea Security respond accordingly. Our participation in Police Forums and initiatives has always served to keep us grounded in the communities we serve.
Public Liability Insurance: An all important part of our offer, which brings you that added layer of "peace of mind". Suffice it to say, Protea Security has Twenty million Rands in public Liability cover.
