Protea Suppliers - Security division (Previously) Shirlock Pty (Ltd) has served Cape Town for the past 18 years.

We would like to take the opportunity to give you a brief overview of the developments that has taken place within our company:

•  The hallmark of Protea (Pty) Ltd was the absolute commitment to corporate governance, and the development of a regional logistical infrastructure supported by a quality management program. The combination of the company structure and the hands-on culture of Christopher Claassen resulted in the continued growth of the Protea brand, the transition to Protea Security, a division of Protea suppliers was a natural step to grow the business.

• We expanded existing operations and focused the company toward a higher level of service delivery. This confirms the progress made by Protea toward Broad-based black economic empowerment. 

• We at "Protea Security" are very passionate about the Industry. We serve and pride ourselves with our ability to be flexible in listening to our client’s needs and tailor-make the exact service required to meet the high standards a project deserves.

• Our successful “hands–on” Management culture, with the example set by our Managing Director, ensuring a strong business relationship. 

• All security companies governed by legislation and draw personnel from the same environment, therefore the only real distinction must be found in management, selection, induction, training, supervision and re-training of personnel.
