Buyers tend to ask the same handful of things before typing a discount code into a four-figure scooter order. The answers below come only from what is known about Voro Motors and this particular code, including the points that are genuinely not published.
MICHAEL96 is listed as a discount code worth $45 at Voro Motors, the US retailer of electric scooters, electric bikes and electric dirt bikes. It is a flat fixed-amount discount, which means the saving is the same $45 whether you are buying a set of accessories or a full-size scooter, assuming the cart qualifies. There is no percentage element, so the figure does not scale with the size of your basket.
The field is labelled either 'Discount code' or 'Gift card' and it appears on the payment step of checkout, not on the cart page. On mobile it is often tucked behind the 'Order summary' dropdown, which is the most common reason people report not finding it. The sequence is:
Add the product and any accessories to the cart.
Open the cart using the icon in the top right of the page.
Proceed to checkout and enter your shipping details.
Locate the 'Discount code' or 'Gift card' field on the payment step.
Type MICHAEL96 in capitals with no spaces and press Apply.
Check that the $45 shows as a separate line in the order summary before you pay.
This is not published. Voro Motors does not maintain a single universal terms page covering every code, so the practical test is to compare your cart total before and after applying the code. If the $45 line does not appear, a threshold is one possible explanation. Full-size scooters from Voro regularly cost four figures, so a minimum spend, if one exists, is unlikely to be an obstacle on a complete scooter order; a small parts or accessories order is where it would matter most.
Most checkouts of this type accept only one discount code per order, so you should expect to choose between MICHAEL96 and any other code you hold. Whether the code can be combined with other Voro programmes is not stated anywhere public. If you are weighing options, remember the saving here is fixed at $45 regardless of cart contents, which makes comparison against a percentage-based alternative straightforward on a large order.
The discount is described as a flat amount applied to a qualifying cart rather than being tied to a named product line. Voro sells its house brand EMOVE alongside third-party brands including Arctic Leopard, Inmotion, Teverun, E Ride Pro and Altis, with Kaabo, Dualtron and Inmotion scooters sold through Voro and its dealers. Categories run from seated and off-road scooters to hill-climbing models, refurbished units, electric dirt bikes, accessories and spare parts. Any exclusions specific to this code are not published, so the order summary line is your confirmation.
New electric scooters and e-bikes come with a one-year VORO limited warranty regardless of brand, and refurbished scooters carry a six-month limited warranty. Importantly, warehouse clearance, sale, discounted or final sale items are not covered by the limited warranty. That is a distinction about the item's own status rather than about applying a code, but it is worth checking which category your chosen model sits in before you buy.
On delivery, Voro advertises free shipping from its US warehouse on most orders, with exceptions shown at checkout. Large, heavy items and remote addresses are the usual exceptions. Since the discount is fixed, any shipping surcharge is separate from the $45 and will be visible in the same summary.
Confirm the code has produced its own line in the order summary, verify the shipping charge, and note whether the item you have selected is a clearance, sale or final sale unit given the warranty position. Voro stocks parts in the US and runs a service centre locator and a spare parts catalogue, which is useful context if you are budgeting for ownership rather than just the purchase price. Published range and hill-climbing figures assume a specific rider weight and terrain, so treat them as conditional when comparing models.
