Sirui Discount Code SAVE70: Common Redemption Mistakes to Avoid

Most failed discount attempts at the Sirui store come down to small process errors rather than the code itself. The official store at store.sirui.com runs on Shopify, so the behaviour is predictable: there is a discount field, it either accepts the entry or rejects it, and the order summary shows the result. Below are the mistakes that most often cost people the offer, and the checks that prevent them.

Mistake 1: Typing the code with stray characters

The code is SAVE70, a 70% discount, and it needs to be entered exactly with no spaces. Shopify codes are case-insensitive in practice, so upper or lower case is not the problem. Whitespace is. A trailing space picked up when copying from another page or an autocomplete suggestion is enough to cause a failure. If the field rejects the entry, clear it completely, type the seven characters manually, and press Apply again before assuming the offer is dead.

Mistake 2: Looking for the field in the wrong place

The discount box sits in the order summary at checkout, labelled either "Discount code" or "Gift card or discount code". Some theme versions also show a discount field in the cart drawer, which is why shoppers occasionally report that the field "disappeared" between visits. Both locations feed the same system. If the cart drawer has no field, simply continue to checkout and use the order summary instead of abandoning the attempt.

Mistake 3: Applying the code too early in the process

The safest sequence is to apply the code as the last step before payment, after quantities, lens mounts and the shipping address have all been set. Changing the contents of an order after a discount has been applied is the classic way to end up paying more than expected. Set everything first, then discount, then pay.

Mistake 4: Not checking the mount before checkout

This is a product error rather than a code error, but it ruins orders just as effectively. Mount availability varies by series across Sony E, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, L-mount and Canon RF. The Sniper f/1.2 autofocus primes, Sirui's first autofocus lenses, come in 23mm, 33mm and 56mm for Sony E, Fujifilm X and Nikon Z. Vision Prime is a T1.4 full-frame cine line with interchangeable mounts. Confirm the variant in the cart before you reach the discount stage, because editing it afterwards means revisiting the discount field.

Mistake 5: Paying without confirming the total changed

An applied code should appear as its own line in the order summary, with the total updating accordingly. If that line is absent, the discount has not taken effect no matter what the field appeared to do. Check the figures, not the visual feedback of the button. Import charges and duties vary by location and are not affected by any code, so expect those to sit outside the discounted total on international orders.

Mistake 6: Assuming things that are not published

Sirui does not publish one blanket rule set covering all promotions, so several questions have to be answered on the site at the time of purchase. It is not stated whether loyalty credits from the store's scheme stack with discount codes, whether bundles, new releases or clearance stock are excluded, or whether more than one code can be used per order. Treating any of these as a guaranteed yes is a good way to be surprised at the final total. What is clear is that no account or special landing page is required to use the code.

If the code will not apply

Work through the checks in order: clear the field and retype, try the order summary if you were using the cart drawer, confirm your cart contents and shipping address are final, and look for a discount line rather than a colour change. If it still does not apply, the likely cause is an exclusion that Sirui has not published, and the remaining decision is whether the order stands at full price.

Standing behind the purchase either way, Sirui products carry a one to six year limited warranty covering certified repairs for manufacturing faults or defects, and there is a 30-day returns policy for items sent back in good working condition. The store ships internationally across its cine, anamorphic, APS-C and support-gear ranges, including carbon fibre and aluminium tripods, video heads, ball heads, monopods and Explorer outdoor kits.
