Before looking at any code, it helps to know what you would be paying for. SmartScout sits in the Amazon market-research and analytics category: software that models the size, competition and pricing of a market on Amazon so a seller can decide what to stock, what to launch or which brands to approach.
Most tools in this space are keyword-first. SmartScout starts from the supply side instead, working from brands, sellers and subcategories. In practice that means you can look at who is selling a listing, how their performance on it has changed over time, and which subcategories are growing, rather than beginning with a search phrase. The platform covers more than 40,000 subcategories that are not in Amazon's public browse tree, and offers filters for revenue, competition, average price and growth.
One point beginners often miss: revenue and volume figures in tools like this are modelled estimates, not numbers reported by Amazon. Treat them as a guide for comparison, not as accounting.
SmartScout is aimed at Amazon wholesale sellers, online arbitrage sourcers, private-label brands and agencies. The common thread is brand- and seller-level research: finding which brands have gaps, which sellers dominate a listing, and which subcategories are worth entering.
Feature-wise, you get ASIN-level analytics including pricing history and ranking movements, a product database filterable by title, brand and more than 30 other parameters, a Search Terms Explorer with volume and CPC filters, and tracking for traffic-driving products, variation performance and historical price, review and rank data. Higher tiers add AI listing tools, ad research and API access. There is a Chrome extension, integration with Amazon Seller Central, and an API available on Enterprise.
Four tiers are published:
Basic at $29/month, with two seats and entry-level databases
Essentials at $97/month, adding the Search Terms and Sellers databases plus the AI Listing Creator
Business at $187/month, adding 40,000+ subcategory analytics, exports and maximum tool usage
Enterprise at custom pricing, adding API access, Data Lake and managed onboarding
Annual billing carries its own advertised discounts, described in the mid-teens to low-twenties percent per tier, with 23% published for paying annually on the Essentials plan.
PCT25 is a discount code giving 25% off the first three months. It is a percentage, so the absolute saving scales with the plan tier you choose: the same code is worth more on Business than on Basic. It applies to the first three months only and is not a permanent price reduction, so budget for the standard rate from month four onward.
For a beginner, the natural fit is a short monthly trial period at a reduced rate while you learn whether the supply-side approach suits your sourcing method. Whether monthly with the code or annual billing works out cheaper depends on the tier and how long you stay subscribed; the totals shown at checkout are the reliable comparison. Upgrading plans later is described as usually possible, but that is not confirmed.
Go to smartscout.com and open the pricing page.
Pick the plan and billing period, then start signup.
Create an account with your email and a password.
At the payment or subscription-confirmation step, open the promo or coupon field. It is often collapsed behind an "add promo code" or "have a code?" link next to the order total.
Type PCT25 exactly, with no spaces, and apply it.
Check the displayed total has dropped by 25% before submitting card details.
Promo codes on subscription checkouts do not stack, so PCT25 replaces any other code you might hold. Adding it after checkout through billing settings is rarely straightforward, which is why the confirmation step matters. The code is not entered in Seller Central or through a support ticket. There is a 7-day money-back guarantee if the tool turns out not to match how you source.
