Introducing Henrico Panel Tours
Now that Henrico has 2000+ panels installed across the division, Henrico is partnering with our Promethean Educational Consultant, Kristen Spruill, to offer optional, free, school-based “Panel Tours” to interested schools.
What is a Panel Tour?
A Panel Tour is the next step in ensuring your teachers progress their panel skills. The goal for each tour is to help you identify your teacher’s current level of mastery and help them rapidly improve to get the most out of every panel in your school. The process begins with Kristen Spruill, Henrico’s Promethean Education Consultant partnering with your school’s Panel Tour team to review the Panel Skill Progression document and Panel Look-Fors Guide. Then, tour team members travel to classrooms with panels to capture walk-through data on how the panels are used during instruction.
What happens after the tour?
After each Panel Tour, your school will be provided with a data report ‘snapshot’ of how teachers currently use the panels for instruction. This data will also be used by Kristen and your ILC to co-develop a customized Panel professional learning session for your panel teachers. The session will be succeeded by one-on-one follow-up meetings.
How to Sign Up for a Panel Tour?
Schools interested in taking advantage of the Panel Tour program to help your teachers rapidly level up their panel skills and transform instruction in their classroom should complete this FORM (also linked below).
