Yes, we have limited dressing rooms so we ask that you sign up for a time slot. If you think you need more than 30 minutes, go ahead and sign up for 2 slots so you won't feel rushed. Please make it a priority to stick to your appointment times, if you are late we may not have a dressing room available. Also, if you need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible.
They can be! If you would like to donate to the organization, the money is used to help purchase things like more dress racks, dry cleaning, small repairs, supplies and advertising costs. It is all run by volunteers, no one is paid.
No, we do not base who gets a dress on income. If you can afford to leave a donation, that is much appreciated but not necessary.
You are welcome to keep the dress, give it to a friend or donate it back to the organization. Once you take it, it is yours to do what you wish.
We want to be sure you have time to get the dress altered if necessary, as well as find the perfect accessories. In the case that someone does not find a dress at our event, this also gives them ample time to shop elsewhere.
YES! Every year we have some girls from Murray State that come to the giveaway to help as "personal shoppers". They will greet you as you come in, help you find your size and style, show you to your dressing room and give feedback.
We do not have space to store those items year to year, so the short answer is no. BUT last year there were a few pairs of shoes, some jewelry and flowers that were donated near the giveaway date so they were put out that weekend.
