Clear eyes, healthy lives.
We are five high school students from Middleton High School who came together to create Project Vision, a student-led initiative driven by a shared passion for improving eye health in our community. Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of vision care and expand access to vision screenings for individuals who might otherwise lack the resources.
Millions of people, especially those in underserved communities, face undiagnosed or untreated vision problems that affect every aspect of their lives—from education to employment and overall quality of life. Many people aren’t aware of the visual impairments they may have, and as a result, their daily activities, health, and future opportunities can be compromised. Project Vision aims to address this issue head-on by providing free vision screenings, offering educational resources, and conducting outreach programs to raise awareness about common eye conditions and the importance of regular checkups.
Our initiative is built on the belief that access to proper eye care should not be a privilege, but a right for everyone, regardless of income or background. We collaborate with local organizations, healthcare professionals, and schools to bring eye screenings to people who might not have access to them otherwise. By partnering with trusted community organizations, we strive to ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to maintaining their vision.
We believe that better vision leads to a brighter future. Through Project Vision, we are dedicated to making a lasting difference in our community by providing the knowledge, resources, and support that will empower individuals to protect and care for their eyesight. Our goal is simple but powerful: to create a future where everyone has the opportunity to see clearly and live life to its fullest potential—one pair of eyes at a time.
