Ashmi Trivedi is a dedicated peacemaker in her community advocating and supporting efforts in peace education, mental health, and refugee transitions. Through Project Unity, she emphasizes the importance of diverse perspectives and enjoys building bridges across different backgrounds and dialogues. She believes listening leads to healing which leads to peace.
Co-Founder
Lexia Gianopoulos is committed to promoting peace in her community. She has participated in multiple youth led peace projects including topics of the environment, youth homelessness, mental health and refugee assistance. She is continuing her active involvement while at University. Lexia’s favorite part of Project Unity is building relationships between people who otherwise are not likely to cross paths.
Why Project Unity?
It is a very meaningful form of service in which I have been able to connect with my community. I have meet some truly amazing people here, both volunteers and students.
