RUNNING THE GAME (macOS)

DOWNLOAD & EXTRACT
Download the ".ZIP" from the Google Drive folder
a. Google Drive
Once downloaded, extract the ".ZIP" by double-clicking on it
a. This will reveal the "Chameleon.app"
IMPORTANT NOTE
The terminal may not be required at all. However, if the .app file doesn't work on the first click, you can try the steps listed below. I've noticed differences between macOS Ventura and macOS Sequoia.
IN THE TERMINAL
Use "Command" and "Spacebar" to open Spotlight Search
Search for "Terminal"
Run the commands below in order
cd Downloads
chmod +x Chameleon.app/Contents/MacOS/'Chameleon'
AFTER THE TERMINAL
Create a "new folder"
a. We can do this through a right-click
Right-click on the "Chameleon.app" and select "Show Package Contents"
a. Right-click on "Contents" then "Copy"
Now go back to the "new folder" we created above and paste the "Contents" folder into it
Finally, we can rename our "new folder" to have a ".app" file extension
a. We can do this by right-clicking the folder and selecting "rename" and adding ".app" to the end of the file name
Now we can launch the game!
PERSONALIZATION (OPTIONAL)
After the game successfully launches it's time to personalize it
By right-clicking on the app, we can select "Get Info"
By dragging an image into the area left of the app name, we can change the app icon
While in "Get Info" we can also change the app name and extension

Once upon a time, there was a website called "Project Speed Metal Chameleon" that was restricted to certain people. Since this is no longer the case with this project, I do not have plans to update these documents. They shall be remembered though.
