Our goal is to raise money to alleviate the harsh socio-economic impacts of the pandemic.
Coronavirus has had global effects on education and healthcare systems. While we may not be able to directly help everyone, we can support the efforts to control the pandemic by donating to the CDC Foundation.
We are offering to tutor middle school students taking the Summer Bridge Course, and elementary school students in core math. In addition, we are offering piano basics lessons for everyone, and a scratch coding course for elementary students. We request $7 per 30 minute classes and $13 every 60-minute session for each student.
We also encourage taking part in the Letters of Thanks Design Contest. All designs will be transformed into letters to be sent to frontline health care workers.
There are two ways to Donate. First, you can directly donate to our Go Fund Me page without signing up for classes by clicking the link here or clicking the button below.
The second way to donate is by signing up for classes. We conduct 30 minutes/session. For classes, we request a donation of $7/session. Money raised from these classes go directly to the CDC Foundation. If you do not want to take any classes and simply wish to donate, you are free to do so by clicking our donation link here. It will direct you to our Go Fund Me page, which sends our money directly to the CDC Foundation. Those who are taking classes and are paying their session fee can use this page to donate to our Go Fund Me as well.
note: The CDC Foundation is different from the CDC, which is a government organization.
